History of Qubari - Part 4: Independence
Qubari was a British colony from 1914 to 1963, when it gained its independence
under King Hulegu IV. However, the king was unpopular
because population regarded him as a British puppet.
In 1973, Brigadier Khumrahn led the armed forces in a successful revolution
that overthrew the corrupt monarchy, and established the Republic of Qubari.
Thanks to the Brigadier's enlightened leadership, Qubari is now not only one
of the richest countries in the region, but also the most free, the most
democratic and the most equal.
President Khumrahn is extremely popular, and many spontaneous demonstrations
in support of his leadership are held by the people. If you visit Qubari,
you may well be lucky enough to see one!
